They have taken thousands of children in the age group of 5 to 7 years and divided them into two groups: Children who knew only one language and children who knew more than one languages. Children with commond over multiple languages were found to have good academic as well as extracurricular activity records. They have more interest in studies. While on the other hand, children who knew only one language, were found to be good in one aspect only.

According to the experts, multilingual children are good at scheduling their tasks. Also while learning multiple languages, they are very comprehensive about the pronunciations. While speaking, they are very attentive towards the language that they are using. They try to remember everything using similar methods that they use to remember languages. Compared to others, multilingual children will have more IQ.

Experts are also of the view that children knowing more than one language are also good at multitasking.
